SONY ACADEMY AWARD WINNING SONGWRITER FROM COUNTY DURHAM

Another news round-up… On-line gigs… Novels…

Jez is featured in a half-hour on-line solo performance for this week’s Whitby Folk Festival. It’s a video clip that was filmed a month or so ago. It will go out via You Tube on Wednesday 26th August at 7pm. More information can be found at https://www.whitbyfolk.co.uk/timetable-of-events/.
The long-established Ten Pound Fiddle concert series in Lansing Michigan USA will be streaming some concerts from their archives, including a recording of Jez Lowe and James Keelaghan when they performed there in a joint show in 2013. The streaming will begin soon…
Further to our comments last time about Jez’s forthcoming new album, we are assured that it is NOT a new Christmas album. However, no further details about the new album have been given at this point…
A great review for Jez’s latest novel “The Corly Croons” in the Newcastle What’s On monthly “The Crack” recently. There’s also a 5 star recommendation on Amazon for the book too. Jez’s recent video workshop for Sidmouth Folk Festival, where he discussed the writing of his novels, has also made quite an impression. Both “The Corly Croons” and “The Dillen Doll” are available by mail-order from this very website…
There’s a strong possibility that Jez will be returning to actual real-live concerts in October, with a socially-distanced gig at Wessex Acoustic in Dorset. He’s listed as being one of sveral performers they are hoping to present in the Autumn, though final confirmation has not yet come through. Watch this space.
