Prestigious BBC Radio 4 programme “Pick of the Week” highlighted the new Radio Ballads series by playing Jez singing WATCH HIM GO from the first episode. Jez was also featured in an article in last week’s Jerusalem Post(!) previewing the forthcoming show about the 1972 Munich Olympics, for which Jez has written a song called DID NOT COMPETE. Part two of the series was broadcast last night, and is currently available to hear again via the BBC website. See also the new LINKS page of this site… Jez has The BIG Bad Pennies at Ely and Bromsgrove Festivals this coming weekend (preceded by a solo gig in Craill in Scotland on Thursday). He’ll also be doing a Radio Ballads songs workshop at Ely early on Saturday afternoon… In answer to many queries, as far as we know, there are no plans for any of the BBC recordings for the new Radio Ballads series to be released on CD.
