Jez’s next scheduled gig is in Canada, at the Netloft in Gabriola British Columbia, then on to Vancouver and Edmonton. The tour continues into the US next week. The new album HEADS UP is due out in North America this week… Jez’s set-list at last weekend’s Helsley Festival was certainly one for the discerning fan! It included MATCHBOXES (from 2002′s Honesty Box album), WORKING DIRTY, a first-ever solo WATTER’S COMING ANNIE (how could he leave that out, given the UK’s current weather), YANKEE BOOTS and a new arrangement of NORTHERN ECHOES. Despite the presence in the audience of several Bad Pennies, past and present, he remained in solo mode throughout the gig.
