Jez’s hidden on-line gig…

Jez did a thirty minute on-line gig last night as the “finale” of the Glenfarg Virtual Feast – The Gleanfarg Folk Feast is an annual folk festival in Perthshire, Scotland where Jez has appeared many times over the years. He and The Bad Pennies were due to appear at this year’s event last weekend. The organisers set up an on-line version of the festival over the Easter break, and Jez was invited to appear. He played a standard solo set – WILL OF THE PEOPLE, TAKING ON MEN, PITMEN POETS, JACK COMMON’S ANTHEM, THE WRONG BUS and HIGH PART OF THE TOWN, plus a suitably rewritten WAITING FOR THE ALL CLEAR (from the “Wotcheor!” album), with a new verse referencing the current situation. The set is still on the Glenfarg Facebook page, but not available to anyone who isn’t officially linked to it, unfortunately… The third chapter of “The Dillen Doll”, read by Jez himself, will be available on You Tube later this week. Watch out for a notification on Jez’s social media sites.
STOP PRESS _ The Glenfarg Festival have now made all their weekend performances public – you can now access Jez’s set through his Facebook page.
