Jez is solo for the rest of the month in the UK – plus a rare trip to Brussels for a gig on Sunday night! – before embarking on a month-long trip to the USA and Canada. Note that his solo show at Durham Gala Theatre on November 11th is SOLD OUT… Meanwhile, the new compilation CD HEADS UP (see track-details below) is still scheduled for American release first, on October 3rd, with British release through Proper Distribution later in the month. It will be available through this website and through Jez’s Artist’s Page on Amazon before that, in all probability… More details of the album are emerging – David De La Haye is credited as producer of the new tracks and mastering engineer of the compilation… The cover shows Jez in some sort of prison cell!!!… Tracks NOT included on the CD (i.e. dropped at the last minute due to space restrictions) were things like TOM TOM, TAKING ON MEN, NEARER TO NETTLES, JEMMY BUTTON (from The Darwin Project) and HALTWHISTLE WOMEN from the “All Along The Wall” project, all of which were tracked down in different versions from those previously released. Perhaps a HEADS UP Volume 2 is on a distant horizon…?
