Jez completed his work on the BBC radio series THE BALLAD OF THE GAMES earlier this week. He’s written FIFTEEN new songs for it, and three will be included on the first show, due for broadcast on July 2nd. These are GREEK CHORUS (sung by the whole cast), AUSTERITY ALPHABET (sung by Bob Fox) and WATCH HIM GO (sung by Jez). Broadcast time is 10pm on BBC Radio 2. The programmes will be available for listen-again via the BBC website for an extended time after broadcast… Jez is at Market Harborough Festival tonight and Leigh on Sea festival tomorrow. The Bad Pennies play three gigs next week at Arundel (27th), Baston Lincollnshire (28th) and Bath (29th). An extra solo gig has been added for Jez at The Beamish Mary, No Place (yes, No Place), Stanley County Durham on July 5th.
