Venue changes and additions… Fylde Guitars CD…

The venue for Jez’s solo show in Orpington on May 2nd has changed – see LIVE DATES page. There’s also a new solo gig, at Norwich on June 7th… Also there, you’ll see two additions to the Pitmen Poets tour, with shows in Selby and Otley just announced… The new double CD release on Fellside Records of musicians using Fylde Musical Instruments is imminent. The album will be titled “Strings That Nimble Leap”, and includes Jez’s new version of GULL’S EYE, along with over FORTY other tracks!… Jez spent most of last weekend in the recording studio with producer David De La Haye, recording music for Badapple Theatre’s upcoming production, “The Frozen Roman”. Jez’s popular song of that name was NOT recorded, but around ten other tracks were! (see pic below)… Jez slipped in a couple of unusual selections in his solo gigs last week, including a version of CRAKE IN THE MORNING, formerly an accapella track, now with guitar accompaniment, plus versions of SHINEY ROW, PROPPING UP WALLS, HANDS FEET, WEAVE AND WORRY and SEA AND THE DEEP BLUE DEVIL… Jez is presenting a day-long songwriting workshop and an evening concert at The Elephant and Castle in Lewes in Sussex on June 8th. Places are still available for that. There’s a possibility that a couple of similar workshop days may be announced soon, once Jez’s current work with The National Theatre is done. Watch this space for news on those and on the National Theatre project as well.
