Jez is back on the road for the rest of the year, with solo gigs across the UK, plus a couple of Bad Pennies concerts along the way. The latest album “Oubliette” is getting lots of airplay on folk music stations across the world, and it was “Album of the Week” on Celtic Music Radio last month, as well as clocking in at Number 4 on the International Folk DJ list. Jez is including a sizeable amount of the album in his current live sets, and devoted almost all of his recent set at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to the new songs.

Other news – Jez and The Bad Pennies are already gearing up for this year’s Christmas Tour, entitled “Jez Lowe’s Winter Wanderings”, which starts at Otley Courthouse Theatre on December 6th, ending as usual with two shows, afternoon and evening, at Gateshead’s Glasshouse on December 21st. Tickets are already selling fast for these shows…
Looking even further ahead, we can confirm that Jez will be touring across Canada with James Keelaghan again next year, starting on November 5th AND will be appearing at Costa Del Folk in Portugal in September with Steve Tilston, their first shows together for three years. What’s more, we can expect an extensive tour by The Pitmen Poets in June next year, as the lads regroup by popular demand for another round of theatre shows, plus a new album to be recorded in January.
