It’s all systems go for Jez between now and the end of the year, with UK gigs this week, both solo and with The Bad Pennies, and a bunch of Scottish dates the week after… Recording has started for the Bad Pennies Christmas album, and this will hopefully be completed before the end of September too… Jez appeared at Cornwall Festival last weekend with Steve Tilston (see photo), and their full-blown UK tour will take up most of November, but before that, Jez is back in the USA, for the third time this year, for a bunch of solo dates on the East Coast. The Bad Pennies regroup for their Christmas tour – this year titled “Mistletoe on Tyne”, on December 1st… Meanwhile we’re still waiting news about the imminent release of the “On Our Own” CD, with songs about forced child migration from the UK, which features Jez on four new compositions… Finally, The Pitmen Poets will be appearing at a few UK festivals next summer, as well as the long list of UK dates in January. More updates on all of this later this week.
