A new year ahead!

Jez began his touring year last weekend at The Cellar in Lincoln, and continues with shows across the UK for the rest of the month. Things look pretty busy for the rest of the year. His schedule includes an appearance at The Costa Del Folk in Spain in mid-March, leading a weekend of songwriting workshops at The Witham Arts Centre in County Durham starting on October 3rd, festival appearances at Holmfirth, Saltburn, Music on the Marr, Moira Furnace, Dartmoor, Broadstairs, Nottingham, Cornwall, Uigie, Trowbridge and South Downs (plus two US festivals – info currently embargoed!), more BBC Radio Ballads recording, plus all the collaborations that are currently being worked on with Steve Tilston, The Broonzies and The Men at Words… Note that the Music on The Marr festival includes a revival of the All Along The Wall project with Julie Matthews, Boo Hewerdine, Elvis McGonigle and Kate Fox, last produced in 2010… The year ended, by the way, with Jez’s song THE WRONG BUS, from the BBC Radio Ballads being included on BBC Radio Four’s “Pick of the Year” programme, broadcast on Christmas day and repeated on New Year’s Day! Quite an accolade.
