Following last weekend’s appearances at Fylde and New Forest festivals, where Jez delivered mainly “greatest hits” sets, both solo and with The Bad Pennies, the whole band is off to Swanage Festival this coming weekend (which includes an “in the round” session with Jez, Vin Garbutt and Wendy Arrowsmith), plus a one-off show at Hitchin on Sunday. After that, Jez is on the road constantly until the end of the year, with gigs in England and Scotland (and two in Wales!), plus a whole month in the USA on his joint tour with James Keelaghan during October. There’s also a series of Bad Pennies gigs in the East Midlands in November under the title “These Coal Town Days”, which Jez has been asked to do as a sort of off-shoot to the recent Pitmen Poets shows. This could be something that may be expanded for shows in other areas in the future.
