Jez’s current tour of Australia is into its last week, with shows in Sydney (at The Gaelic Club in Surry Hills on Wednesday and at Gymea on Thursday) and then the Kangaroo Valley Festival in New South Wales next weekend. Jez’s last three gigs were in Newcastle (not the usual one!), Woy Woy and at Humph Hall in Allambrie Heights, where he joined legendary balladeer Martyn Wyndham Read on a song between his own two main sets. That entire concert was filmed, and will be on line soon. Jez also has a double page feature in the current edition of the celebrated Australian magazine Trad and Now, and has just done an interview for the Kangaroo Valley Festival for their weekend programme…
Jez has also just selected his favourite “desert island” records for the Audio Loft Recording Studio website – Jez has recorded several projects there over the years, and it’s where the “Northern Echoes – Live on the Tyne” album was mixed. Check out his selections at http://www.audioloft.co.uk …

This time next week, Jez will be en route to Canada, and the opening concert of his solo tour at Vancouver’s Rogue Folk Club at St James’ Hall on October 19th. The road goes on and on…
