Jez is off to Canada!

Jez returns to Canada next week for a series of shows with his long-time friend and collaborator James Keelaghan – you may remember that Jez and James were two dates into a tour in early 2020 when the Covid epidemic brought everything to a sudden halt, so this is the unofficial resumption of that tour, with dates right across the country, from Quebec to British Columbia. Keep an eye on the lads’ social media pages where undoubtedly there’ll be regular bulletins about their adventures. Full details of these Canadian dates are on the LIVE DATES page of this website.

Jez has spent much of this month with The Pitmen Poets, rehearsing and recording a new CD for their UK tour in May. There are three Jez Lowe songs on the new album, two brand new compositions, and one from a few years ago that has been re-arranged to suit the quartet. We’ll have more details about the new album soon. It will be available at all the concerts and by mail-order as usual.

We have a set-list from Jez’s solo gig at The Witham Arts Centre in Barnard Castle last weekend, sent in by Julie Radistock, which includes quite a few new songs, along with some old favourites –

At least four of these songs are unrecorded and unreleased, and indeed the programme for venue at this concert mentions that Jez will be releasing a new album in late 2024! Well. we’re not sure about that, but if it’s going to happen, this website is where you’ll hear about it first.
