Jez joins the Patreon Community

As we mentioned last week, Jez will launch a Patreon website in May, with a subscription arrangement for anyone who wants to join up and have access to exclusive content. Work is continuing on setting up this site at the moment, and there are already some suggestions from people as to what they’d like to see included. Among the features being discussed so far are the following –
 – Archive recordings “from the vaults”, including live concert tracks, out-takes from recording sessions, demos and early versions of songs and the recently re-discovered Radio Ballads demo recordings.
 – Archive video of solo and Bad Pennies concerts dating back to the late 1990s.
– Vlogs – video of Jez discussing his current projects, including new songs, old songs, his work on his novels “The       Dillen Doll”, “The Corly Croons” and the forthcoming third book.
– Video workshops on songwriting and on Jez’s use of instruments, guitar tunings and cittern technique.
– Witten essays on past and current events, tours, gigs and life on the road.
– On-line concerts of requested songs
– Interactive on-line performances.
– Access to athe library of Jez’s complete work, currently estimated at over 250 songs.
And much more, as the project develops and more possibilities open up.
Please note that this new project will not mean an end to this website or the long-established “Midnight Mail” newsletter, and Jez’s on-line concerts will continue as usual for the foreseeable future as the chance of real live concerts is still uncertain.
