Solo tour continues… Cover version… Patreon additions…

Jez is almost mid-way through a series of solo gigs across the UK which will take him right through April and into the month-long tour with Bob Fox and Julie Matthews, “In The Steps of Ewan MacColl”, featuring songs from the 2006 BBC Radio Ballads. Jez did a couple of London gigs last weekend, but lost a show in Kent (The Bobbing Barn) due to bad weather. This has been rescheduled to June. Once again, Jez delved deep into his repertoire for these shows, and there were rare outings for A DREAM OF STEAM AND FREEDOM, TIME RICH CASH POOR  and EX-PITMENS POT-HOLING PUB QUIZ TEAM, plus a new song (which was featured on his PATREON page last year) called HARDANGER ANGEL, which we hope will become a regular inclusion on these upcoming shows…
Over in America, a singer called Amelia Hogan has covered Jez’s 1983 song CURSED BE THE CALLER on her new album, “Taking Flight”, which is just out now…
Following Jez’s very successful day-long song-writing workshop in Lewes, E. Sussex last weekend, there are now plans for a similar workshop day in the North of England later this year. Watch this space and Jez’s social media pages for more news of this as and when it’s set up…
