You performed a song (very clever lyrics) which really made me laugh ,about the centurion in an excavation hole and his chosen fate – it would seem that I although I understand pseudo Latin I can’t remember a song title .
What was it and is it on a recording?
Looking forward to reading the first of your books (ordered from an even bigger river than the Tyne) .
Thanks

Well what can I say?? Where have you been all my life (I am 71)?? I bought Northern Echoes yesterday and I am now an avid fan. I will be looking for more of your music. Keep up the good work and I hope to see you soon.

Great gig at Cramlington last night. You are a fine songwriter and tunesmith – but more than that, your humanity is so wonderfully apparent in many of your songs, and in these troubled times it is so refreshing to experience that wit and perception, and to admire your courage in speaking out. Keep up the good work! (And almost incidentally, you work with some excellent musicians…)

Had a great time at Desford Village Hall last Saturday! Somehow you had passed me by previously but now I’m a committed fan. Just listening to Crazy Pagan and felt I had to write in appreciation of Not My Tribe. That sums up how I have felt so many times since the 1980s! Champion. Best wishes for the new year and let’s hope for some sense and compassion is restored.
Great to be at your gig in Kelso earlier today – really enjoyable .
Thanks – I had a great time too!
